Terms & Conditions

Please take the time to read these terms and conditions before booking your stay with Bubble Retreats Australia.

By accessing this website, you agree to accept, without limitation, all of these terms and conditions of use.

All bookings made are subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the booking is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of the individuals staying at Bubble Retreats Australia.

Bubble Retreats Australia has the right to change or update these terms and conditions without prior notice by posting amended terms on our website.

Check-in/Check out

Check-in: After 3:00 pm – sunset. In order to offer guests the best experience, please arrive well before sunset. We specifically chose a dark and remote location which as a result can be hard to get around for the first time in total darkness.

Check out: By 10:00 am

Paid and complementary (for single-night stays) variations on these times may be available. Please inquire before making your booking. Guests may also be charged a fee if arriving earlier or leaving later than the times above, without prior approval.

Bookings

Bubble Retreats Australia is an adult-only campsite and is unsuitable for babies, children, or teenagers. You must be at least eighteen (18+) years of age to make a booking and stay at Bubble Retreats Australia.

You must pay the full amount of your stay before the booking will be confirmed.

You agree to not bring any more people than the Bubble Retreat has been booked for. It is two (2) adults permitted per bubble. Only paying guests are allowed on the property and visitors are strictly not permitted. This includes (but is not limited to) photographers, tour operators, and other local service providers. Permission may be granted only by management’s prior consent and at management's sole discretion. Only those persons indicated on the booking form may enter the bubble and use the property. Bubble Retreats Australia reserves the right to request additional guests to leave if this is not adhered to, and in extreme circumstances may evict you from the property without a refund. Bubble Retreats Australia reserves the right to either:

Request additional guests to leave and pay a minimum fee of $250 per person per night:
Request all guests to leave without a refund and pay a fee of a minimum of $250 per person per night.

Due to the close proximity of wildlife and stock, no pets are allowed on the property. If guests are found to have a pet, or there is evidence of a pet has been on the premises, Bubble Retreats Australia reserves the right to either:

Request guests to remove the pet immediately and pay a cleaning fee of a minimum of $250;
Request guests to leave without a refund and pay a cleaning fee of a minimum $250.

Bubble Retreats Australia strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover items including but not limited to loss of booking amount through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money, and medical expenses.

When staying at Bubble Retreats Australia, please keep all valuables and belongings safe. In the event that your personal possessions are lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced on the premises, Bubble Retreats Australia does not assume financial responsibility.

Strictly no smoking is permitted on the property and/or in the bubble. Any evidence of smoking and/or inappropriate use of fire outside of designated places and/or inappropriate disposal of charcoal can attract an additional cleaning surcharge of a minimum of $250 and a referral to the authorities for negligent behavior.

Please note that while every endeavor is made to ensure guest privacy, the property is a working farm, and roads and paddocks are in use 24/7.

Our bubbles are located on rural and undeveloped areas of land that may not be staffed 24/7. As such you (the guest or traveler) acknowledge that it is your responsibility to maintain your own safety in and around our bubbles and property. You acknowledge that you are aware of the risks entailed in the remote rural environment (including but not limited to spiders, wombat holes, snakes, hot summer temperatures, cold temperatures in winter, windy conditions, unexpected bushfires and smoke, snow and icy conditions, hail, thunder and lightning, high escarpments and any slips and falls) and the low-light environment at night that is preserved for the benefit of stargazing.

The location of your bubble will be sent in a welcome guide upon full receipt of funds and the completion of the online check-in and credit card authorization process within two weeks of your stay. You won’t be able to attend and risk forfeiting your booking if you fail to complete the pre-authorization.

Any damage, loss, or expense incurred by management as a result of your stay will be charged against the pre-authorized credit card used during the online check-in and may exceed the limit of the pre-authorization if the costs incurred exceed the pre-authorization. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage, or excess cleaning requirements, or extra guests beyond those declared.

You agree to leave the site and the bubble in the condition it was on arrival, and that you will report any damages which have occurred during your stay.

All bookings are subject to availability.

Cancellation policy

Our emails are staffed 9-5 pm on business days only.

Due to the high demand for our bubbles, please only book the dates you wish to stay.

We offer a full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

From time to time it may be necessary for Bubble Retreats Australia to cancel your booking due to events beyond its control. Such events include but are not limited to extreme weather events, bushfires, government directions, government-mandated shutdowns, infectious diseases, pandemics, or viruses. If Bubble Retreats Australia is required to cancel your booking due to an event beyond its control, then Bubble Retreats Australia will provide you with a gift voucher for the same value as the amount you have paid to Bubble Retreats Australia as at the date of cancellation. Gift voucher terms and conditions can be publicly accessed on our website. You acknowledge and agree that to the extent permitted by law, Bubble Retreats Australia will have no obligation to refund any money paid unless it decides to do so at its absolute discretion.

Weather conditions:

Bubble Retreats Australia does not accept any responsibility for any effect on your stay due to adverse weather conditions (wind, rain, storms, snow, etc). We do not offer refunds in lieu of being able to experience both outdoor and indoor activities due to adverse weather or unsuitable conditions.

You will not hold Bubble Retreats Australia liable for any monetary reimbursement in relation to any new accommodation procured.

Vehicles:

You agree to follow the supplied route to the designated bubble and park at the designated parking spot for your bubble indicated by signage.

Due to the remote location of our grounds, there is a component of off-road driving on a track in use. While all efforts are made to keep the roads suitable for all-weather driving, no responsibility is taken for loss or damage to vehicles including but not limited to rocks or debris on the road, uneven surfaces, exposed rocks, wildlife or washed road surfaces.

All roads are in use 24/7 by landholders and Bubble Retreats Australia staff and invited members of the public.

Campfires

Campfires are not permitted at any time on the Bubble Retreats site.

Private Information

You consent and authorize Bubble Retreats Australia to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of administering your booking and providing you with any services associated with your booking.

Bubble Retreats Australia may use surveillance onsite for safety reasons and by accepting this booking you consent to the surveillance.

You consent to the information that you have provided to Bubble Retreats Australia as part of your booking being used by Bubble Retreats Australia for the purpose of informing you about offers and promotions which relate to Bubble Retreats Australia.

Upon request and to the extent permitted or required by law, Bubble Retreats Australia will provide an individual with access to and/or the ability to correct their personal information held by Bubble Retreats Australia.

Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by the law, you agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless, Bubble Retreats Australia and its current and former officers, employees, contractors, sub-contractors/consultants (including their respective employees and contractors) and agents against, from and in respect of all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including but not limited to consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damages for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your booking or your stay at the property except to the extent such expense, cost, liability, claim, action, proceeding, damage, judgment or loss arose out of, was caused by, attributable to or resulted from Bubble Retreats Australia’s negligence, wrongful act/omission or breach of these terms and conditions.

To the extent permitted by law, the aggregate of Bubble Retreats Australia’s liability to you is limited to an amount not exceeding the amount paid by you for your booking.

Each indemnity in these terms and conditions is a continuing and independent obligation and survives the termination or expiry of these terms and conditions.

Australian Consumer Law

To the extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties, guarantees, rights, remedies, liabilities and other terms implied or conferred by statute, custom or the general law that impose any liability or obligation on Bubble Retreats Australia are excluded under these terms and conditions.

Nothing contained in these terms and conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies the application of any provision, the exercise of any right or remedy, or the imposition of any liability under the Australian Consumer Law or under any international consumer protection legislation, provided that, to the extent that such law permits Bubble Retreats Australia to limit its liability, then Bubble Retreats Australia’s liability is limited to:

in the case of services, supplying the services again or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again; and

in the case of goods, replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods or repairing the goods, or payment of the cost of replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods or having the goods repaired.

Miscellaneous

These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.

If part or all of any clause of these terms and conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable then it will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible, it will be severed from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
